Sherry Jones is the Business Development Lead at Compass Rose Events, where she has been a driving force behind the company’s growth since joining in 2017. In her first year, Sherry earned the Sales Excellence Award, setting the tone for a results-driven career that has generated over $1 million in revenue for three consecutive years. Her success and leadership led to her promotion to Business Development Lead in 2025.

Sherry brings a diverse professional background to her role, with experience spanning multiple career paths prior to Compass Rose Events, most recently serving as a Branch Manager for a staffing company. This breadth of experience, combined with her consultative approach and strong relationship‑building skills, allows her to understand client needs and deliver strategic, impactful event solutions.

Born and raised in Tennessee, Sherry proudly calls herself a Tennessee girl through and through. Family means everything to her—she is the proud mom of one son and a devoted “Nae Nae” to her niece’s two boys, Mason and Maddox, who keep her young and bring her daily joy. When she’s not spending time with family, Sherry can be found enjoying a good book, attending a performance at TPAC, or baking her favorite cheesecake.
