Recruiting & Training Coordinator

With more than five years of experience in the special‑event planning industry and a solid background in recreational management, Ron has been a valued member of Compass Rose Events since 2022. He started as a seasonal event manager and quickly stood out for his reliability, leadership, and ability to keep even the busiest event days running smoothly. His strong performance led him into project management and later into staffing, training, and recruiting, where his eye for talent and commitment to quality made an immediate impact.

Today, Ron serves as CRE’s Recruiting & Training Coordinator, a role that blends his industry expertise with his passion for teaching. He takes pride in preparing new event managers for success and helping them grow into confident leaders. Ron is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Recreational Management.

Originally from Wisconsin, Ron eventually made the move to Tennessee — a choice he happily calls the best decision he’s ever made. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking, tennis, and spending time with his family. And while he’s fully embraced life in Tennessee, he still carries his Midwestern roots proudly as a lifelong cheese‑head.
