Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Mya has called Nashville home for over five years. As a Project Associate at Compass Rose Events, she plays a key role in bringing each client’s vision to life through thoughtful planning and seamless execution. With a detail-oriented mindset and a creative approach, Mya thrives in managing the behind-the-scenes elements that ensure every event runs smoothly.
Mya graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business and a minor in Entertainment Arts Design. Prior to transitioning into events, she gained hands-on experience in the music industry, working across various aspects of music festivals. This background strengthened her ability to manage fast-paced environments, collaborate across teams, and execute large-scale productions with precision.
Passionate about sustainability and intentional design, she is dedicated to creating experiences that are not only memorable but also mindful. From organizing event documents to supporting client needs, Mya approaches every project with care, precision, and a personal touch.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, cheering on her favorite team at baseball games (Go Cardinals!), and hanging out with her dog, Tiger.
