Brett Ernst

Regional Director

Brett is a Regional Director with nearly twenty years of experience in the corporate event planning and production industry, including more than a decade with Compass Rose Events. Since joining Compass Rose Events in 2014, he has played a key role in building long-term client partnerships while designing and executing large-scale, high-impact events across the Midwest. Over the course of his career, Brett has successfully produced hundreds of events ranging from several hundred to tens of thousands of guests.

As a member of Compass Rose Events’ senior leadership team, Brett leads a sales team and works closely with clients to translate vision into execution. Known for his reliability and attention to detail, Brett brings a proven, consistent process to every event – one that ensures even the smallest details are thoughtfully planned and executed. His disciplined approach has earned him a reputation for strong event design, exceptional customer service, and long-standing client trust.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Brett is proud of his Midwestern roots. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Brett lives in Maryville, Illinois with his wife, Erin, and their three sons, Jude, Andrew, and Hudson, along with their two golden retrievers, Indy and Charley. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, getting out on the golf course when time allows, and cheering on his favorite St. Louis and Mizzou teams.
