Compass Rose Events, Inc. Opens Third Delivery Center in Texas

As the nation’s largest turnkey event provider, Compass Rose Events is heading West.

Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, March 14 –  As the nation’s largest turnkey event provider, Compass Rose Events, Inc. expanded west and opened their third delivery center in the Dallas–Fort Worth region of Texas on March 1st. “By opening our third delivery center in Texas, we’re able to widen our operations and expand into new western markets; on course to be the largest and best company picnic provider in the nation,” says President Brian Long. Compass Rose Events is a turnkey event provider serving the nation’s premier employers to host memorable, safe, and successful events by delivering everything from concept to implementation.

Compass Rose Events, Inc. was born in 2004, as True North Events & Catering on the coast of Maine. Founded by Scott Larson, as a full-service events company, Compass Rose Events combines his experience in large corporate picnics from years with The Fun Company and more recently, wedding productions, as the owner of several hospitality properties on Maine coast. In 2006, True North Events & Catering expanded, owners Scott Larson and Bob Hilscher, opened a second company in Lakeland, Florida, previously known as Coastal Events & Catering.  By leveraging resources between the two companies, they extended True North’s short summer season well into the spring and fall in the southeast regions of the country.

During the next couple of years, the company combined their two brands, creating Compass Rose Events, Inc. and moved their Florida warehouse to Nashville, TN, to better serve their expanding geographical market. The great recession of 2009, weeded out many competitors in the industry, while Compass Rose Events’ brand and reputation continued to strengthen throughout the country.  They soon became the corporate event company of choice for the foreign automotive industry and were uniquely positioned to deliver nationally for companies with multiple locations.

Compass Rose Events, Inc. became an ESOP in 2017 and operates three delivery centers across the nation located in Maine, Tennessee and most recently, Texas. “We deliver approximately 300+ corporate events nationwide for the country’s largest employers annually as an employee owned company; sales exceeded $12M in 2017 and we’re on track to hit $13.5M by years’ end,” says CEO, Scott Larson.  They continue to deliver more large events than any other provider in the country, as The Nation’s Largest Turnkey Event Provider.
