A veteran of the food service industry, Jonathan Dunton has logged more than twenty years serving as chef, owner and everything in between in both family and fine dining environments. As Manager of Culinary Operations, Jonathan works directly with our sales team to create the best possible dining program for an event. Through communication and intensive outlining, Jonathan creates a unique menu plan that mirrors our clients’ needs and preferences.

Since Jonathan knows that the food he serves is only as good as what goes into it, he works diligently to procure only the finest ingredients available, delivered and prepared fresh on-site. He is directly involved with the hiring and training of staff for Compass Rose Events, ensuring the highest standards in sanitation and safety. Every chef we work with is ServSafe® certified; Jonathan wouldn’t have it any other way.

A talented epicurean with a love for camping and the outdoors, Jonathan is extremely fond of his work, as it allows him to experience the best of both worlds. To him, every event is a new adventure!
